What a place to be racing bikes!!

This track was gnarly and full-on.  It was short , but packed a lot into the 2 minutes and 30seconds.  

I struggled to find a flow on this track.  I tried to get into and pretend I liked it, ha ha.   But I still couldn’t find the pace. 

My qualy run was half decent, but really nothing amazing.  And then about a third of the way down I smashed a rock pretty hard which smashed my chainguide and chainring.  I stayed off the brakes and even pushed with my foot in the flatter sections at the end of the track, but it wasn’t enough.  I finished 95th, 5 seconds off qualifying.   

I know I had at least 5 seconds in me if I could’ve pedaled the last minute of track, but still at the end of the day I was a bit off the pace. 
I’ve got a lot of things to work on for Ft. William in 5 weeks.
